I was born and raised in Napa, California. I earned a BA and an MA in Communication Studies from California State University, Chico. For several years, I worked as a teacher and an academic advisor, but my creative nature was just waiting to be put to work. Having learned to sew as a young girl, I had always enjoyed tinkering with my sewing machine. In 2011, my hobby became a business.
I now live in Windsor, California with my husband, Jeff, where we enjoy the outdoors, good food and wine, and raising our two sons.
